I tried again in Live – my utility works. I don’t know what your problem is. I updated the ISO once again to the one where everything works for me. You may have a different ISO version. I usually use Ventoy.
No Ventoy. I use Live-usb-maker from my antiX 26 instance to create live usb from your ISO.

From your snapshot I see you did not specify the leading data partition to create – USB-DATA.
I see you just run the default – create just sdd1 – ext2 for antiX and sdd2 vfat. When you specify leading data partition a third partition – named USB-DATA would be created as the first one in order. If you look at my snapshot ubove there are three partitions created: Data partition, main partition and the EUFI.
When you run live-usb-maker from terminal you select in the process the size of USB-DATA and format. On gui live-usb-maker you need to click on ‘Show Advanced options button in top right quadrant, then select data partition size (%) and format in left botton quadrant.
Live usb will create USB-DATA partition according to such specification as the first one.
Without such function live-usb-maker would be practically useless as you do need a neutral partition where to store data. Live-usb-data option is useful only to preserve data between sessions, but not visible outside. So USB-DATA partition is a must to have and on external hard disks it is most of the disk.
I think is is some permission problem when it tries to create the leading data partition (it would be sdd1 in your run, if you specified) and fails.
