I have been playing with antiX-core and installed LxQT and Xlibre.
No login manager and using a modified desktop-exit-antix instead of the logout provided by lxqt.
No consolekit, no elogind and no turnstile.
Using autologin via startx, which is strongly advised as it will login to rootless X.
All inits boot and reboot, shutdowm as they should.
