No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane­find­scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).

Looks like you are right, you need the ccd548.fw – backend.

There are some How Tos to set it up and extract the file if you have a windows-installation with the driver.

You have to install sane on antiX , follow the instructions where to move the file.
Some reported success , some not by doing this.
