    6.6.141 is already out according to kernel.org

    I always (naively) assume newer kernel means better, if it turns out it works for me, and more secure (though I’d expect not all CVEs discovered has been covered) since 6.6.141 out already.
    I tried to find out the status of DirtyFrag using web search but my quick attempt was fruitless; with distributions patching their kernels, it’s more difficult to judge by version alone.

    BTW, I recall anticapitalista mentioning he delays building newer kernels until the fixes are no longer delivered with such a high frequency (since building kernels takes time and resources).
    The recent exploits have been discussed in other topic (with the following suggestions: A) use Debian kernel B) workaround blocking affected module from loading).
