    Hi Steves, I would use the latest antiX kernel due patches.

    If you always want the latest patches go for latest Debian or
    Liqorice, both update very quickly.

    The whole subject is somewhat tricky as latest kernel may bring
    new backdoors or exploits.
    There have been some very angry posts by Linus about Kernel org
    mailing lists being swamped by KI generated slop submissions
    making serious contributions hard to track.

    Presently I am running sid with Liqorice on a near 14 year old
    machine, it is working fine. I would not call it better than an
    antiX Kernel. Just an experiment.
