I had a few minor problems with dinit before development ended; all of them have been completely resolved and I find it to work VERY well.
I had a problem with dinit until recently, which appears to have been related to dinit-lightdm service. Boot was failing to complete.
I think it is mostly experimenting with @valera’s dinit antiX, which is using slimski, suggested I should fall back to slimski and re-try dinit. All worked properly, just like in @valera’s respin. This made comeback of slimski, to eliminate issue with lightdm/consolekit combination. Now all clear on the dinit front…
