The only thing I can think of it that once you’ve added Liquorix kernels to the collection of available software, our tools are able to see them in the repository. There’s no special code in cli-aptiX, or any other tool, for that matter, to bring in kernels; it’s the ADDITION of the Liquorix repo to the available repositories that PROVIDE those additional kernels.
What that curl command does is that it adds the Liquorix repository to the list of repositories, then it attempts to install the Liquorix metapackages for the current Liquorix linux-image and linux-header. Nothing else is going on; however, once you add the repository with the curl command you not only get the current kernels, you also have access to whatever other Liquorix kernels are still available; only the newest one is automatically installed with the metapackages, but with the cli-aptiX you can SEE the other Liquorix kernels.
