    Conky with “own_window no” will try to occupy the same desktop layer as the icon manager (rox or zzzfm), so they do conflict.

    Icewm 4.0.0 started enabling alpha transparency by default, which conky doesn’t like for some reason, see discussion and some solutions in this other thread: https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/conky-lost/
