@berghs to further emphasize the usefulness of an excellent performing USB drive for storing installation images, ISO Snapshots and remastered images, I took that SANDISK 512GB Extreme PRO Flash Drive and did a system update, then a Live-Kernel-Update, which first called the remastering script and now I’m back with the update; popping in the device, booting it, updating it, adding the new kernel and packages and remastering all of it took under a half hour of total clock time.
