    Thanks guys. Great. Not booting meant it ignores cd drive and goes to HDD (empty).
    I will check Antix dvd integrity next.
    A while ago I had dualboot winxp and mx16.
    But now nothing will boot up from the dvd, except puppy.
    Must persevere then.
    I will now also set an admin password in BIOS, which is what I think you meant, yes?
    Will keep you updated…..
