noted: Bootmenu F1 helptext has not yet been updated to include descriptions of the newly-added persistence modes.
reproducible for me in VM:
At bootmenu, press enter (just accept defaults) leads to ice+rox autlogin.
Logout, then choose fluxbox and attempt to login as demo//demo.
First attempt fails, and returns to the SLiM login screen. Second attempt succeeds.
