3. Why can’t I reboot and poweroff by pressing Alt-F2 and typing reboot and poweroff? Is there no othe way except thru the Menu icon then Logout?
it’s not something I would typically do, but FWIW I just now test… and this works
Press Alt+F2
type “halt” (noquotes)
checkmark “Run as root”
Click OK
Also tested “reboot” via the above, which was also successful
