The easiest way to check if it’s OK or not would be to simply install the ‘known working’ — Windows 10 1803.
If you insist on Linux to test, then you should check the Linux compatibility list on ‘known issues’ first
and then choose some distro that is supposed to work without too many bugs or ‘known problems’.
Judging by MX is pretty much very risky.
That usually comes down to Linux Mint/Ubuntu and/or Rosa Linux.
