Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Normal.
Either you get Java from:
http://java.com/de/download/linux_manual.jsp
Or, you get it over Synaptic, from the repositories.
Did you install Libre Office from the repositories or from the website?

My post above, wasn’t there to solve your problem but, only to give you a clue what might be going wrong and tell you, “you’re not the only one”.
