Wife speaks only Greek, husband speaks mostly English, kids go to school on German and they learn intensively French.
Computer has to be set up on at least 3 different languages; 4 would be optimal.

This wasn’t a question and you don’t have to tell me how to achieve that from the command line.
You have to make that work on a ‘click of a button’, just like Mac, Mint or Windows.
I hate to praise it too much, but antiX is the perfect distro for such a family.
1st way: boot with live USB and select the locale from the live USB menu each time.
2nd way: create users in Control Centre, log in with the user, set locale in Control Centre.
