When you had 17.4, were you also using the 5.xx kernel?
No, I ran the 4.8{1,2 ?} kernel, sorry did not remember the right version.
My problem is that I dont know how to install/create a new nvidia kernel moduke for the new kernel.
There is a command like “add module kernel version” but I can’t recall the name. That worked on the old (now gone)
system.
Or: Do you believe or even know that this a kernel 5.11.1 issue?
However, I will downgrade to 4.19, as you mentioned and will report later.
