This is not the solution, but may point you in the right way:
– you didn’t say what was your printer’s model, so I went to the official cannon web page, http://www.canon-europe.com and selected a random model, looked for linux drivers for it and landed on a page that had several version of the driver: first the source file, then the rpm package and finally the debian package. This last package is the one that may be compatible with antiX, since antiX is Debian based.
Please try to download the debian package for your printer’s model, if it’s available, and try to install it (in a live version of antiX, or running in virtualbox, just to check if it does not mess up your system).
