    Hallo kike,
    if you can get in to AntiX and open console you can set password there.
    command is “passwd” You might be better off trying a base version, if that
    will install then add what you really need. The 701 is a neat device but
    hardware limited.

    Your system memory is very tight, the device can be upgraded though.
    Crucial 2 GB CT25664AC53E DDR2 PC2-4200 533 MHz module works, for sure
    others too but you would need to look in forums for recommendations.

    Using a 32GB SDHC if you can find one for a reasonable price or a
    good USB stick of a decent size would be a big improvement. The
    internal SSD is non replaceable.
