antiX’s first ‘official’ public release (antiX-6.5 – code name Spartacus) was on 9 July 2007 and it was supported by the Mepis developer, Warren Woodford.
An earlier release was made available to users via the Mepis forums before this one but under the name Flepis. (Fluxbox Mepis – based on Mepis 3.4.3, but using Debian testing repos rather than Debian stable).
