    Yes, Brian, that will work. For those not comfortable with editing the ~/.icewm/preferences file, it can also be done right from the Preferences menu. See pic below. After clicking it to unselect TasBarAutohide, you need to go back to the Preferences menu and click Save Modifications at the bottom.

    PS: I took that pic on my main system, and the toolbar option and conky on it are a bit different, but its accurate as far as showing how to change the option from the menu.
