    hi belf, I just copied in to leafpad and saved as indicated in the file.
    #You may save this file as ‘Samsung-ML-1710-gdi.ppd
    The instructions are a bit contradictory.

    If printing is fine for you no need for addition, I had very slow print
    (took ages to print multi pages) until the correct PPD was setup.
