    Fantastic job, @calciumsodium. Trying the release in all those machines for sure took a very long time.

    About the repo-manager “fastest Debian mirror”, the error doesn’t seem to be related to the repo manager, but to the netselect-apt program. It failed even when launched in terminal. I think a recent update of the debian page http://www.debian.org/mirror/mirrors_full is to blame.

netselect-apt was unable to obtain a list of valid hosts from
the file downloaded from the url 'http://www.debian.org/mirror/mirrors_full'.
This might happen because of any of the following reasons: 
   - there was an error in the file 
   - the file is not in the format netselect-apt expected 
   - there is a bug in netselect-apt
