Looking through this thread a couple of comments.
One, why has user roland not re installed from a backup after his experiment on a PC he states was previously working fine.
A point where image creation using the antix tools is a matter of a few minutes, same goes for reinstalling to the previously working setup.
Writing I do look forward to a way out of what I feel is the only let-down I have come across in my use of antiX, maybe by some upgrade of Ceni,
or even Wicd, but preferably to Connman. Am I likely to avoid these problems by investigating using wpa-supplicant from Control Centre ?
What does the result of his experiment have to make him post of a let down from antiX, forum, team or distro.
The response here is to try and help him get out of “issues he himself created”. Then in a post he responds about being let down by antiX.
“Maybe a good time to take a long hard look at the person who caused the problem, Bathroom Mirror should do fine for that”.
Sternly Remind the person concerned to make a backup before experiments and to take full responsibility for his messing up a working system.
Probably now the time for a reinstall rather than yet another reboot. Then when the system is working “Make a Backup and check it works”.
