OK, I think I figured this out. I think it is only CHROME that dropped 32-bit. Chromium is still being compiled with 32-bit support by some vendors, including Debian?
Some of what I read on the web leads me to believe 32-bit Chromium is dead. But I think it depends on the developer. And there are some Chromium-based browsers that also may still support 32-bit.
Still reading, and it’s getting harder to find 32-bit browser support. Most of the Chromium-based browsers do not work for my 32-bit machines. But Chromium itself seems to work. At least for now.

Edit – if it’s a Chromium based browser it will require SSE3. If the CPU does not have SSE3 it won’t work. So, it’s not 32-bit so much as it’s SSE3. Once again I forgot what the issue was. I misremebered that the problem was 32-bit.
