    Hi,

    the Unix Stack-Exchange link contains an example command.
    Did you try to run it successfully?
    If it works for you, then you can simply add it into your ‘~/.desktop-session/startup’ file which is automatically executed when you log in.

    It (i.e. ‘syndaemon’) is present in my antiX at desktop PC which makes testing it futile.
    ‘which syndaemon’ outputs ‘/usr/bin/syndaemon’.
    ‘apt-file search syndaemon’ confirms that it comes with ‘xserver-xorg-input-synaptics’.
