    Hi Roland,

    About it being fat16.
    I would make the esp partition up to 512mb in size as some of the new hard drives can’t have a fat32 under ~260 mb in size.
    That maybe why gparted is failing to format Here is a link to read on the esp and uefi partition sizes.
