    Hi @Articules and welcome.

    Some more little tips:
    – connection via wifi: a Mac of your era probably has a b43 antenna. In case you have a known issue with that hw there a fix in the top of this forum written by anticapitalista.

    – (partly OT) connection via cable: you can also connect your Mac to the internet, connecting your usb phone’s cable to an usb port of your Mac. (you have to configure an hotspot via cable on your phone) and this connection will be seen by antiX as an ethernet one-

    – (OT) heating problems: Mac of that period sometimes had heating issues. It is better to check the temperature with “psensor” or “macfanctld” – the latter been tailormade mainly on MacbookPro
