I don’t know if anyone receives financial compensation for being overtly rude and disruptive, but given the relative success of the ‘free software movement’, it’s certainly possible that commercial companies that are floundering due to the success of free software could potentially do anything.
The mere thought that they’d stoop to a small distribution like ours, though it’s been painful at times, is a kind of ‘twisted’ complement to the ingenuity of the antiX ideas and implementation.
Regardless of what it is, I want to complement and thank anticapitalista and the overall antiX community for making this effort what it is. Let’s NOT allow the bullying and harassment to deter any of us from the good work and accomplishments.
Think of our Brazilian friends as an excellent example. They’re helping with translation and informing friends of a system that will work on second hand equipment. That’s proof that this work is still necessary. I don’t necessarily NEED it myself, I simply value it and appreciate the details and design.
Let’s continue to help those who benefit most from this project to be able to use the systems they have available to run antiX!
