    Yes, I was able to save that .doc file just fine.

    I wonder if it allows .rtf? That was an old MS format for formatted word processing document files that would open with a simple editor like Wordpad.

    Aha! AntiX has things setup to open that with Leafpad by default, which will work just fine and not mess up a script file, I don’t think.
