Necessito di un collegamento tra cartella/files del laptop con Gitlab.
In sostanza quale codice inserire nel terminale per clonare il file che andro’ a lavorare poi su Gitlab e se ce’ bisogno di un contenitore come Docker oppure no.

I comandi di base più importanti di cui hai bisogno che avevo elencato nella mia prima risposta già nell’ordine corretto. Ok Robin, forse ho solamente sbagliato la directory del file su computer da condividere con gitlab quando ho digitato il secondo comando cd

Understand paths:
– Current path in terminal

– List files and folders in current path

– Navigate to folder in current path

– Navigate to folder with full path

– Copy file from one place to another (using full paths)

– Copy file to current directory
cp "/full/path/origin" ./If you copy the file from the zzzfm file manager (or drag and drop the file to the terminal), it will paste the full path of the file inside the terminal.
You can check all folder in the zzzfm file manager and open a terminal there if you don’t want to use cd. (By clicking the F4 key it will automatically open a terminal in the current folder in zzzfm). You can also copy files to the git repo folder in zzzfm and then use git command to add and commit changes.
If you git clone to the current path, it will create the folder in the current path.

I opened the terminal with F4 inside the Documenti folder, where i then dragged the ProjectScript.html file, and used the mv command.
I moved the file ProjectScript.html, and then i cloned again.
Now I have on my computer ProjectScript.html inside progettobase folder, it should also be present on Gitlab progettobase folder, but I can’t find it there on Gitlab.

I moved the file ProjectScript.html, and then i cloned again.
Another clone command after changing something inside the cloned structure causes to overwrite all your changes, if you use the same folder here.
Now I have on my computer ProjectScript.html inside progettobase folder, it should also be present on Gitlab progettobase folder, but I can’t find it there on Gitlab.
Sure. It can’t be there. You need to push, as outlined in my first answer. The workflow is:
1.) Clone the gitlab.com repo to a local folder (like you did)
2.) Make your edits in this cloned folder and its subfolders. (Don’t touch the hidden folders and their content)
3.) Use the add command to register your changes. Use status command for checking before and afterwards. This step (add and status) can be repeated as often you like to apply consecutive changes still.
4.) If everything is fine, use the commit command for creating a commit locally from your changes.
5.) Once done, use push to transfer the local changes (precisely: the commit you created locally) to gitlab com. It will be marked there with the commit message you have assigned in the step before.(All git commands after the first clone must be executed from within the cloned repo folder, this is why you have to cd into it before entering the commands for adding changes, checking the recent status, creating a commit and pushing it back to gitlab.com)

I preferred uninstall through sudo apt remove git command, and than reinstall GIT to remember better.

You did everything fine. Great. One hint left:
$ git commit -m 'commit-message'The idea is to replace the string ‘commit-message’ by something descriptive between the single quotes, so you can later easily identify what purpose the very commit had served once. It will permanently show up in the version history at gitlab.com (and the last message for each updated file also in the repo content page, like you can see in your screenshot.)
