Hi. I have created a new user, and I have problems of permissiones in the assembly of partitions, it is left with the permissions of the user demo. How do I change the demo permission for the new user I created? Greetings. Thank you.

How did you set up new user? Since you mention demo user, are you running live?

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
1- antix control center > Maintenance > User Manager > Add User > fill in the fields
2- it is not installed, but in live usb it behaves in the same way
3- With gparted normally
It is interesting that the partitions were set per terminal, the permissions work normally, but they are mounted with spacefm, the permissions are left with the user’s permission.
In other distributions such as debian live, the same partitions work correctly the permissiones.I do not know if I’m true, per spacefm uses pmount or udisksctl to mount as partitions. It may be that these commands are not correctly assigning permissions to assembly with other types of users.

they are not very old partitions of an external hd that I have for backups and use ext3 format. No, these partitions from hd I always use them with other distros normally.

I can change the permissions to the new user via terminal as root with the chown command, but ideally spacefm will mount correctly with the given permissions.

I’m running frugal/live, just created a new user and from rox-filer I get these as demo user and antiX user when I plug in a usb device. ie permissions are correct.
