I’m sorry. You have helped me a lot and I don’t forget it. I also share your general concerns about the flags as symbols. But I find this post of yours at least pointless:
The Iranian government has been sponsoring Hamas for years. If instead of using that money for warfare they had helped migrate the Gaza population to Iran, they would be living a happy life. But they don’t care about the people; they only care about the “nation”. About the flag. About the land.
All the states use money for warfare and don’t really care about the refugees. It’s not an iranian particularity.
But it’s one (nice) thing to help people that want to leave a regime “because you cannot fight the corrupt state” and it’s a very different (and not nice) thing to remove all the people of an area from their land to “save” them from a taking place genocide. In the second case, they won’t “be living a happy life”.
