Is this script something you’d like to see as an entry in antiX Control Centre? Would it work using antiX Viewer, or is a bolide browser like firefox/chrome/derivates needed? Sorry, had not the time to test.
After testing a minimalized and simplified version, yes – this will be included as a Control Centre entry.
Regarding the browser requirement: The web interface works with any modern browser that supports JavaScript, including lightweight options like Pale Moon or Dillo (if JavaScript-enabled). However, **the web interface is optional** – the tool has three modes of operation:
1. Terminal menu interface (./scl or ./scl menu) – Works entirely in terminal, no browser needed
2. Command-line mode (./scl auto, ./scl day, etc.) – Direct commands for automation
3. Web GUI (./scl web) – Opens a browser interface with real-time sliders
For Control Centre integration, we’ll likely use either the terminal menu or direct command-line options, eliminating any browser dependency. The web interface is primarily for users who prefer visual controls.
Note: The version being integrated will be streamlined specifically for Control Centre use, focusing on the most essential features while maintaining the core functionality.
