It may come as a surprise, but some antiX users are systemd agnostic. It was not the reason I started using antiX, and it is not the reason I have kept using it. The reason I started using antiX was that it was the first distro to give proper new life to my old laptops and PCs, and that it was and is well maintained, with excellent support here. The lack of systemd might contribute to antiX efficiency, but there’s nothing ideological about it for me.
That said, I do find it somewhat odd doing promo videos for another OS on this forum.
Hello antiX users, why are you so unbiased and indecisive about systemd? Why are you so negative and angry about systemd? Is your reason for using antiX because it runs fast and has good support on older PCs? And what is your reason for continuing to use it? CachyOS is also efficient. Why is it strange to you that there are videos about other Linux distributions in this forum? There’s even a section for other distributions in the forum, and I opened this topic under this thread. I don’t understand why you’re so rigid and negative. I didn’t criticize antiX; on the contrary, I love it and used it for two years and was very satisfied. It’s very fast and, as you said, it brings old PCs back to life, and I even used it on a new laptop. Please don’t be prejudiced; I’m a good and helpful person.
