Why? Just update the system in your live session:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade

Or, if that exceeds your RAM, update merely the installer, before running it, like anticapitalista had suggested somewhere in the link I gave you:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install antix-installer

Windows is like a submarine. Open a window and serious problems will start.
