I was prompted to accept maintainer choice (or something like that) when grub was updating.
I stuck with the default which is NI just tested this, but pressing enter twice to “keep the local version currently installed” does give me the same (cryptsetup) error:

Please test turning on/off pipewire for alsa and vice-versa.

Repo Manager is probably broken as apt set up is different to previous versions.
It would help to get feedback from those running live with/without persistence either on a stick or frugally.
Testing whether iso-snapshot works would be useful.Package Installer will have many issues as it also needs to be updated for trixie repos

Repo Manager appears to be absolutely blank.
I see no problems with iso-snapshot. I created a snapshot and it seems to have been completed successfully. It took 00:05:29 to finish.

Yesterday I installed synaptic and it showed up in Menu>applications>System
I used appfinder to put in the personal menu also.
Noticed repos right now don’t carry apt-xapian-index yet though.
Synaptic opens and works OK though.Sometimes I drive a crooked road to get my mind straight.

I ran the original antiX 25 Alpha 1 runit LIVE on this system, then did the SAME on my Dell Inspiron 5558; tried both the 6.6.87 kernel and the 5.10.236 kernel. Once I had success, I then found the @ProwlerGr respin of antiX 25 Alpha 1 runit, which is antiX 25 Alpha 1 init-diversity.
That’s what I have installed here now on the Lenovo Thinkpad T14. The 5.10.236 kernel does NOT work here, but the 6.6.87 kernel works fine.
So what I intend to do with this system is to remove the 5 series kernel and ADD a Liquorix kernel, then I can compare things like resource utilization, average system temperatures, etc. between our kernel and the Liquorix kernel.
One thing I was thinking of is that our “friends” at MX Linux have stopped maintaining their own kernel (or maybe it’s ME, replacing it). Anyway, one though would be to put our kernel work into the 5 series and utilize either a Xanmod or a Liquorix kernel for a newer kernel support. If we DO want to keep maintaining a 5 and 6 series kernel I’m OK with it; as a user of relatively recent, middle age and a couple of old computers, I’ve tested the Liquorix kernels with all of them. The OLD Lenovo laptop runs pretty warm with a Liquorix kernel, but that old beast works best with a 4 or 5 series kernel anyway. The Dell can also work with a 5 or a 6, but takes good advantage of cutting edge kernels. All of this is “just a thought”; I never insist or push too hard on anything; we have a terrific team and I support whatever choices are made.

Used grub Replace.Looks like debian upstream have decided to drop multi-init support in the latest shipped version of grub…
I’m certain folks at MX won’t be happy with this either as this dropped feature (alongside systemd-shim) allows them to ship with both inits.
I have posted on their official gitlab & got an initial response (bottom section in following link)
