Using the command line shutdown, not the JWM logout/shutdown graphical interface; chased the acpid power-off request all the way to /run/runit.stopit and cannot figure-out why my Pentium3 platform with ACPI will not shutdown. No problems with prior AntiX OS versions, or other operating systems; just Antix-26rc1 sysvinit.
Get the power-off/shutdown message via syslog and remains running.
Tossed a lot of echos into the acpid scripts, everything seems to be working, and “strace /lib/sysvinit/shutdown” exits zero after (what looks like) calling /run/runit.stopit.
Oh I know, sysvinit is actively running, while runnit isn’t, as such calling runit.stopit fails? Shrugs…

Try shutting down as root if you haven’t already done so.
