Why should the fact that some people use AUR worry cachy users who don’t? It’s the same as saying it should worry antix users…but then I guess you do seem worried about it…
Actually, rather than worry it would seem more like partisan fear-mongering if I didn’t know better. No adult could be partisan over something as petty as this, though, so that can’t be it.
I don’t know much about CachyOS, but I do see that at the top of the official CachyOS “Post-Install” page is a recommendation to install their advanced GUI package manager “Shelly” because of its superior built-in AUR package handling. Seems kind of like pushing the AUR to me. And keep in mind, this latest AUR malware fiasco is not the first incident of its kind.

And I do agree, in the realm of malware, Windows is the undisputed king, and the AUR’s recent infestation isn’t even a blip on the radar by comparison. My bad, it was a poor analogy, although it did seem a bit humorous at the time.

The OP has been promoting CachyOS in all their posts so maybe they should mention this serious issue and not ignore it.This video isn’t about downloading and installing software from the AUR repository. Secondly, I also shared my video about AntiX, and it’s older! Also, as I said, I don’t use the AUR repository and I haven’t recommended it in my videos; on the contrary, I told people to download from their own repositories and Flatpak. You don’t watch my videos, yet you comment on this; I didn’t expect that from you, and you’re very rigid and fanatical, it’s very clear in every message you send. You warned me, I didn’t object. It’s very clear in this forum that the forum administrators, moderators, and regular members are fanatical about anti-X and are very rigid against other distributions, constantly writing about their vulnerabilities and bugs. These aren’t even the subject of my videos. Is everything perfect in anti-X? Does it have no problems, vulnerabilities, or shortcomings? Please write about that too. Regards.

In an antiX forum (please respect the proper spelling, it is for good reason; can’t be that difficult, really) you are highly welcome to discuss all the trouble you have with it. Search the forum, and you’ll find most of the stuff in here is precisely about troubleshooting, bugfixing and improving things considered as shortcomings by whoever. And we discuss all that without any animosities, to be precise: We are glad we can squash another bug. That’s the precise opposite of what you call being fanatic about antiX (which would mean claiming that antiX is perfect already). And this constant work in progress ist what this forum here is dedicated to. If you strive for discussing another distro in depth, I guess it is a good idea to do that in their dedicated forum, since there you’ll find people who are actually interested in discussing it. Sorry, I simply have not the time to participate in a conversation about the 1001st other distro, and honestly, I lack of interest in a gamer distro.

You’re not making any claims, but I haven’t heard any negative comments, shortcomings, problems, comparisons, etc., about antiX from anyone here. I think you’re unaware of how rigid and fanatical you are. It seems normal to you. Look, I’m not against any of you, I’m not an enemy. But what everyone in the forum writes is always blaming other distributions, writing about their mistakes, problems, and vulnerabilities. I’m not on one side like you. I love all Linux distributions. I also love antiX and used it continuously for two years and was very satisfied. You’re writing like this to such a positive person, do you understand? Since antiX isn’t perfect, and it also has problems, vulnerabilities, and errors, I can’t understand why you’re behaving this way and why you’re so against other Linux distributions. You couldn’t have used and tried them all for a long time. I won’t share anything on this forum anymore, I guess that’s what you want. Unfortunately, you lack a universal perspective. You’re only looking at your own picture, not the whole picture.
So you think I don’t look at or read what’s happening on the forum? You’re not sure and you’re pursuing some kind of mathematical calculation. The problem is that your approach is too rigid and fanatical. You can’t deny my claim because you heavily criticize everything except antiX, as if I don’t accept these things, or as if I created and praised Cachyos. Besides, Cachyos is a very good Linux distribution, and I haven’t had any problems with it. It’s as fast, stable, and uses fewer system resources as antiX, and I do everything I can with it. I respect your use of antiX and your fanaticism, and I love antiX at least as much as you do, but I’m not a fanatic; I don’t disparage other distributions. I hate Windows and macOS too. Finally, I’m not mistaken because you wrote: “Share other Linux distributions in their respective forums, write in their forums,” meaning don’t share or discuss them here, because we don’t like them and are against them. Despite all this, I respect you and the forum community.

It’s clear you’re commenting without having used Cachyos. Cachyos is very fast; they have optimizations specifically for that. Use it first, see for yourself, and then comment.
