error when trying to upgrade initscripts??

Hi all,

Several sysvinit related packages were upgradeable tonight on Sid. One (initscripts) failed because of dpkg error. Apparently involves a problem in trying to overwrite /etc/init.d/udev file, but not clear to me what is wrong or how to fix (if fixable at the moment).

Appreciate advice.

You need the antiX version of sysvinit (should be in repos soon) or you can manually install debs from this link.

Thanks.

The associated non antiX package upgrades installed without a problem and since they didn’t bring in systemd packages, I thought perhaps, antiX versions weren’t necessary. Only initscripts “complained”.

I will upgrade all to the antiX 3.18 versions.
