[SOLVED] How do you mark a topic [solved]?

I have a super-silly question. I posted a topic on problems mounting my Ipad. I now wish to mark it [SOLVED]… thanks to you folks! I tried going to the topic, clicking on “edit topic” at the top of the page, and am told that I cannot edit the topic. Am I doing something wrong? I have marked another topic solved in the past, but I can’t remember how I did it. Thanks! Hern

Yeah, this gets me also. I forget that on this forum the entries are locked after a few days and you can’t edit. But the forum admins can, so sometimes they can add the [Solved] tag for you.

You can add a new message at the end. You can declare is [Solved] in that message. But you can’t edit the thread title without help from the admins.

Right. Going forward, if you find that you can no longer edit the first post, request (in a last post) for an admin/moderator to edit it for you (mark it solved), as seaken64 suggested.

One of us will see it & fix it for you. 😉
