and it will show antiX and Debian kernels to pick from.

What is your current kernel (output of ‘uname -a’)?
I would suggest to try the same series, e.g. 4.19 first (the highest probability it will work with your HW).
If it has a newer version and it all works (after reboot to it), good, keep it.
If it does not work or you would like to get newer versions, try a higher series, e.g. 5.10 (still receiving security updates according to https://www.kernel.org/category/releases.html).

That’s odd… http://www.antixforum.com/kernel-upgrades-available-2/ shows newer kernels available, probably 64-bit systems only?

My current kernel is 4.9.0-326.
If I choose a newer version, I’ll try 5 10 142-468.
Does that mean that when the system starts, it’ll be asking me to choose which of the two I prefer?

(My system is regularly updated from the antiX updater, but this updates everything else EXCEPT the kernel.)

How else can I explain it?
I’m not tech-savvy.
I CANNOT INSTALL ANYTHING by using the sudo cli-aptiX command.
I DON’T UNDERSTAND what to do after I execute it.
sudo cli-aptiX is USELESS for me.

Is there an easy GUI way?
Otherwise I’ll just have to let sleeping dogs lie.

There is usually a 5 sec. time-out when the grub table is displayed (unless you have modified it or you use a respin); you can navigate the table using arrows and Enter; once you move in the table for the first time (in the given boot), the time-out is stopped until you explicitly select an option.

I believe the newly installed kernel is used by default (not sure if this would apply to a newly installed 4.19 kernel with an already installed 5.10…).

You can keep using the antiX Control Centre -> Software -> Package Installer -> select section “Kernels”.

A slightly confusing BTW: It may happen that despite your 5.10 kernel is a newer series but the variant of 5.10 kernel you install may actually be of a slightly older release date than the variant of 4.19
Example; sorted according to the release dates: 4.19.156 -> 5.10.128 -> 4.19.666 -> 5.10.999. If you install 5.10.128, it is older than 4.19.666.
