Brian MasinickModeratorHere’s my “antiX Sid”; I haven’t been carefully watching to make certain that it hasn’t been “polluted” by non-antiX stuff, but it’s lifecycle on this system is limited to the next 64-bit antiX test build, so I’m not fretting what it HAS or doesn’t have. At worst, it might temporarily become a blend of antiX and siduction; perhaps not ideal, but not terrible when it comes to a true Sid implementation.
In any case, here’s what I have today:

Brian MasinickModeratorRight now I’m sitting in the waiting room of our auto shop. Brakes need work. Id ‘lucky’ just brake pads. Nine year old Honda CRV, might need brake calipers too.
I’ll get to my systems when I return home.

This shop always does pads and rotors minimum. Given the time so far I have a feeling it will be all three.

REALLY good news! The lead mechanic took the car out for a test drive after finding no issue whatsoever with the brakes; confirmed: all is well, no charge for the “exam”. The previous tech incorrectly marked the brake results as “yellow”; should have been all green.

Brian MasinickModeratorI’m messing around with flash drive images today. Used init-diversity earlier, been fine tuning a sysvinit Privacy Edition the past few hours and I am remastering the final change for today. Made small changes to my Conky, updated pinxi, pared down the number of Web Browser images included and also reduced the number of extra text editor images installed but I updated the doom configuration and added the extra nvim key bindings for saving and quitting the editor.
It’s doing the md5sum now so it’ll be done soon so I’ll reboot one final time to ensure it works properly.
