Oops… Thank you. I didn’t see it, because i saw the version 0.8-18 from the Debian Testing repository . My mistake is that I should have disabled their repository.
p.s. I tried to install it on the version with XFCE, unfortunately I already have all the libraries from Testing and there are conflicts. I will have to put my package here too.

My wireless mouse works without any problems….
You tested bluetooth mouse? Not just wireless?

Yes, that is what I thought. The wireless mice through radio do work fine, of course. It is only the bluetooth ones that do not.

I am just curious if there is anything new on MXD. Have you been able to resolve some conflicts?

What conflicts?
I was tinkering with the display of tray icons… In LXQT, everything is complicated. There are settings for LXQT itself in QT, there are Kwin settings, there are GTK settings – all this together does not work very well. One icon on QT, the second on GTK… It seems that i am set it up more or less. Conflicts you mentioned as quoted above, is that why you could not leverage antiX nosystemd packages for avahi dinit service? You mentioned in your distro it pulls in elogind…

I think LXQT is simple. To reduce issues with your icons I suggest just install gnome standard icons from repository. The only GTK icon I needed to use was for xfce4-power-manager installed because it is much better than power manager that comes as LXQT default.
XFCE4-power-manager takes some memory footprint but it has significaant additional functions, such as support for hardware keys for screen backlight and keyboard backlight on Apple Macbooks and right click backlight slider from system tray for other laptops. Additionally, lists all batteries installed in laptop and their status and sequence of charging.

Due to the fact that I’m using the Testing repository, the avahi-daemon 0.8-16 package from antiX didn’t work for me and I built a package of 0.8-18 without the elogind dependency. I also installed it on the XFCE version. Everything should work.

You’re using Openbox, which is the main compositor for LXQT. Problem with Kwin, LXQT developers warn about this in their wiki

Looks like Kwin seems more of a challenge presentation-wise, but it looks to me these minor issues are a matter of having the right components that fit together.
E.g. on the panel ‘Manage widgets’ the right action icons are missing in this Kwin implementation. So, if you remember which one to click, it works fine, such as you can add new widgets. These action icons should not be blank but showing ‘+’ for adding a widget or ‘-‘ for removing a widget.
I remember I did run into such behavior before and the solution was simple to show those actions icons, instead of blanks.
I think you are close to a nicely polished MXD version, based on antiX systemd-free, elogind-free, based on dinit and Kwin/LXQT desktop…
I am not a fan of any KDE, or XFCE approach but I think with MXD it is amazing in itself how you adapt this creation so quickly to newly arising requirements.

Fixed Polkit-turnstile in the system, removed the unnecessary, changed some packages from KDE to analogues from LXQT.
