The init-diversity-installer-data package has been uploaded to my repo (note: it is not the same as the test package I linked to @calciumsodium).
Primary purpose was to deal with some issues that @rokytnji reported with 66 user services after installation.
Package 66-service-boot will need to be upgraded to the latest version for it to be effective.In a nutshell I created run-once script which when first booted into s6-66 on a fresh installation, cleans-up the live “demo” user services & sets-up the scandir & dbus user service for the new user accounts, & then disables itself.
I will upload updated iso’s when I get the chance as I believe this was an important bug on 66 that I now believe has been resolved.
For those who wish to test it before the upload:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade 66-service-boot && sudo apt install init-diversity-installer-datathen create an iso-snapshot which you can use for a new installation (with a properly set-up 66).

Now that antiX 25 Alpha 1 is out, I won’t be doing much new with this one for a while, but I DO have it in place, and it’s improved quite a bit, between the changes @ProwlerGr has made and the recent dbus and connman changes that @anticapitalista made to at least get these services to work consistently; hopefully the other services will remain steady and stable for a while.
Meanwhile, for now, activity shifts to the Alpha testing; I DO have this image INSTALLED and I’ll be keeping it, so from time to time I’ll write about my experiences with it.
